Knowing you keep a busy schedule, the Deli & Prepared Food Departments at the Country Butcher are focused on helping you manage your busy life style.  The Deli serves up made-to-order sandwiches with ingredients like locally raised all natural prime meats including Certified Angus Beef® and local (Delaware raised) chicken and turkey.  To go along with your sandwich, try our store-made coleslaw and variety of salads and side dishes. We hand-cut and slice to order, rather than pre-slicing our meats.  This personal attention to your order reflects our commitment to giving you food with the best flavor possible.

The Prepared Food Department at the Country Butcher can supply all your prepared food needs from soups and sandwiches to our Easy Entertaining specialties. Panini, hot sandwiches, subs, petit meat loaves, and baby back ribs are some of our everyday, store-made items.  Trays of roast beef au jus, pulled pork, sliced turkey with gravy, baked ziti and manicotti are readily available or for pre-ordering. 

County Butcher’s Cheese Shop offers over 100 varieties of specially selected, handcrafted cheeses from around the world. Our selection includes a mix of classics like Thomas Hoe Stevenson Aged Blue Stilton and D.O.P. Parmigiano Reggiano, as well as lesser-known artisan and farmstead cheeses from local producers in Pennsylvania, the US and abroad.  Like wines and other fine foods, the best way to decide on your favorites is to taste them, and our staff will be happy to provide a sample before you buy. The Cheese Shop also stocks an exceptional array of olive oils, varietal vinegars, salami, chef prepared dips, pâtés and much, much more.
