June is uniquely placed between the Memorial Day and July 4th holidays.  It is a time packed with new beginnings: graduations, weddings, Father's Day.  We know things can get a little hectic, so consider letting Country Butcher make things a little easier on you.  We have a variety of new items this month:

• In the Cheese Shop....Barely Buzzed Cheese: Beehive's espresso-rubbed cheddar from Utah provides

   a earthiness, roasty-smokey spice flavor with a touch of bittersweet (as noted in Martha Stwart' Living

   Magazine, July 2010).   

  We offer four cheese condiments from Mt. Vikos that are perfect with cheese. 

    Based on figs or apricots and olives and onions!  Enjoy!

    Glazed & Roasted Figs - perfect for dessert with your favorite soft cheese or over some Woodside Farms Creamery ice cream. (going fast)

    Sweet Olive Jam - all-natural complement to a cheese plate.

    Apricots & Figs - prepared from sundried fruits for maximum flavor with a touch of honey & spices.

    Onion & Fig Jam - good with feta, mancheyo cheddar or asiago cheese.
