                     Celebrating 30 years in the family-owned fine foods market!

    In the beginning, high school sweethearts Dan and Dorothy, married and five weeks later, on

    April 8, 1982, opened Country Butcher.  Everyone said they wouldn't last because they were not    

    selling pre-packaged meat.  Founded on the principle of providing customers with the finest

    quality meats: fresh cuts locally raised, grass-fed, USDA Prime meats.

    Originally a small high-quality butcher shop, Country Butcher has transformed into a unique

    top-notch gourmet market to meet the growing demands of our customers.  The Country Butcher

    is now a popular breakfast and lunch destination, The County Butcher, has a full-deli with cafe

    seating and a bakery with an in-house pastry chef. 

    We look forward to the future in serving our many loyal customers.

   stopped by Country Butcher to research different meats and cuts

   from Master Butcher Dan Boxler. He also picked up tips about fresh

   ingredients, roasting directions, and cooking instructions.
